'The sun placed itself just overhead to portray shadows across the glistening sand sprayed over the shores. The silence loomed itself, like a phantom woefully and lonely- leaving the lone she wolf in her own sea of thoughts. Waves rasped at the beaches, only barely interrupting the she wolf's thoughts as her slender eyes gazed out at the rolling sea. Shadows hid her figure from the naked eye, as she sat among jagged rocks just tall enough to disguise. Yet a ray of sun was able to just barely reach her torso; with its shades of gray and black assorted around her fur.
She was Dementia- forever kind yet forever disturbed.
Her ever-growing loath for water contained her to the higher grounds of the shore, yet her fading green iris couldn't help but take in the beauty that greeted the horizon ahead.
I was truly magnificent. Enough to make even this pup to stop and watch it for a lengthy amount of time.
Dementia's eyes slowly began to relax and close, yet she was still quite wide awake. Her ears twitched as she listened to the soothing sound of the waves; taking in the silence of not only the scenery, but also Zokin. She laid calmly in the back of Dementia's mind with not even a hiss coming from the cannibal's foul mouth- which meant a few nice, golden, moments of peace to the she wolf.
Dementia shifted her weight gingerly, and attempted to avoid the wound on her left fore paw. It was minor, but enough to make her wince at the slight flash of stinging pain- exactly what she did.
The pang of hurt took away from the view's awe, especially when sand found its way into the open scratch. Dementia whimpered and immediately focused her attention to the inflicted paw.
"Ouch..."
She mumbled, and grimaced at the scratch caused by a loose stick.
And then, suddenly, the silence became slightly more lonely than before.
