Kain's Pelt was all white with the snow he had traveled on. The tundra was freezing cold, enough to kill a wolf in a day. he wondered if anyone would be sane to even live in this remote area. He had just passed over the valley of Exile, onto the other side opposite of where his pack was, after all, he was exiled. Feeling sad and lonely that he had just lost most of his friends in the last couple of days, Kain scavenged for a place to stay. o ow No wood, no grass, no nothing. Trees couldn't even grow in this tundra area. He would need to find an area with little snow in the Tundra. His paws stepped through the freezing snow, it felt like icicles stabbed his claws every time he took a step, then in the distance, he could see a faint, low grass line where he could sit. kain wondered if the dirt was rock solid, which it probably was. He took a step onto the low grasslands, seeing snow for miles except the mountains he had just walked over. There was no food in sight, except for the occasional snow fox or a rabbit. Kain wondered to himself what he was going to do next. He Though to himself that first, he needed a shelter, which he might built miles out from here, but even before that he needs food. Squinting his eyes he stared around to see if any signs of life were around his general area he could eat, which ended in a sad no.
But then, he could see a furry white animal darting across the snow and noticed it was a rabbit. He lunged toward it, and caught it. He sank his teeth into it, gnawing ever last piece of meat, and then became full. Plan 2 was now in full motion, but first he wondered if anyone was out here.
"Hey, Anyone out here!?"

I was accustomed to the cold after years of hard training. The winter tundras were my homeland, the snow beneath my paws stinging with a familiar resonance. It wasn't anything that wasn't new to me, I had been out plenty of times in the freezing cold. My battle years had taught me to man up and face the cold with a poker face. As I looked around out here, though, I couldn't imagine why I had strode in here on my own, without force. There was really nothing of value here, the tundra was completely barren except for the occasional patch of dirt or icy cliff. There were multiple ice caverns throughout the tundras, places where I expected one could hide in but today I wasn't waiting for anyone to appear.
However as I strode across the thin sheets of ice, the spiked needles becoming embedded every so often between my toes, I saw the outline of another wolf. It was only a speck of a figure, a dark form on the horizon. Intrigued, I began to stride closer. My white frame was invisible out here, not to mention my already ghostly appearance. The ends of my fur were almost translucent, wispy and flowing around me to give me the air of floating along like a ghost. The only hint of color on my body was my amber eyes, filled with a crazed fire that hadn't died in my more youthful years. I was a good eight years old now, but that passion for battle had never died.
It took a good forty five minutes or so to reach the figure, and at this point I was expecting him to have either smelt or seen me; he couldn't have heard me. The whipping winds on the tundra were sure to eliminate all sense of hearing. I waited until I was a couple feet from him before raising my voice above the whipping winds. "Holamigo. A bit cold to be out here, eh?" A grim smile pulled at the corners of my mouth, waiting for him to give an answer.

Kain still staring around at all the snow that was around him, thought on where he should go next. He was sure that this island couldn't be all snow, if it was, he'd probably do anything to get out of here. Kain could then sense that someone was very close to him, and wondered whether it was his mind playing tricks on him, or someone was actually sane enough to go here.He then heard a wolf speak
"Holamigo. A bit cold to be out here, eh?"
Finally, someone to talk to, Kain thought. He had been traveling the past 2 weeks or so getting out of the valley of exile, and then about a day finding this island. He though about making friends with this wolf almost in front of him. It might help him getting back and taking revenge on what had happened to him and his friends. Joining a pack was too risky, maybe he would get attached to those wolves and never want to see his old friends again. Kain was sad at thought of never seeing them ever again.
"Didn't think anyone was sane enough to go out here. Hey, mind if I asked what you are doing here?"
Kain stared of behind the wolf to see more miles of snow and ice and rock, what he had just previously seen for the past couple of hours. Then, all of a sudden Kain's sense of cold had went away. His years training and his resistance must have broken it, he did feel slight cold but not anything much, similar to where his old pack was. Maybe it would be possible to be friends with him. It sure would be nice to have a companion once he finds out a way to get back.
"You know anyway out of this hell hole of snow?"

The snow and ice that captured Frigidum was not welcoming to any. There wasn't one person who received any pity from these lands, and us two were included in that. The male standing before me was younger than me by a couple years, though he looked hardened in battle and toughened over the years of war. He intrigued me, but at the same time, bothered me.
"Didn't think anyone was sane enough to go out here. Hey, mind if I asked what you are doing here?"
I shrugged. "Plenty sane on this end, migo. But there's always the question of yours," I smirked, keeping my taunts and banter down to a minimum for now.
"I'm out here to seek strangers. The time has come when the lands of Sentenia will change forever." I said simply for starters. The capsule, once it opened, was sure to cause death and destruction. Something that came in the form of a metal capsuloid was bound to contain some sort of explosive. It wasn't going to heal this land, like Lux Umbra believed it to be. What could it possibly hold inside it that would cause something other than destruction? Health could not be contained. No, a great fire would spread from it's core.
"You know anyway out of this hell hole of snow?"
I chuckled. "You're new to this land then, I see. This is the land of Frigidum, which takes up approximately a quarter of the island. Thank goodness this isn't all of it." I looked behind me, seeing the tall cliffs of frozen, rigid ice. "The farther south you go, the closer to Saltus you will get. That is the rain forest, in case you are not familiar with Sentenia." The chill of the ice beneath my feet had numbed them to little pin pricks, but I had endured much worse. "It isn't that bad out here, though, is it?" I laughed.
"Xecir Fuentes." I greeted simply.

The male in front of Kain was obviously was older than him; but that didn't mean he was strong. His muscles for his age were obviously much bigger and stronger than other in his age. His white fur was almost blended in with the snow, his amber eyes the only sign that he was a wolf here. It looked as if he was feeling barely any cold as well, but it looked as if both their paws were so freezing because of the snow left of the dirt in the area.
"Xecir Fuentes." I greeted simply.
Kain thought he might never hear the name Fuentes ever again, but it that theory was not demolished. Judging by the way he talked, he didn't seem like a crazy psychopath who wanted nothing but females and WORLD DOMINATION*. Oh well, he seems nice anyway, Kain thought to himself.
"Kain, Kain the Exile. Thanks for telling me on directions Really appreciate it, you know what with being new to a strange foreign land you might call it," Kain replied to Xecir saying his name, "Fuentes, right? Haven't heard that in awhile, Hey by any chance are you related to Cesaru?"
Kain stared in the direction where Xecir said Saltus was, and he could barely see a green line, indicating snow would maybe soon stop, unlike what he said before. He would need to find water that was drinkable in a week, otherwise he would probably dehydrate on the spot and die. It was good news, anyway to know that this land wasn't forsaken and dead with snow.
"Can you lend me some pointers on anywhere else I shouldn't go? Or you could just show me around I guess. How big is this island anyway?" Kain asked to Xecir. Maybe he would still be nice for awhile until he gets the information I want, Kain thought.
