Something warrior-like maybe, he supposed silently to himself, what’s a name for a female warrior? Diasuke was interrupted from his musings by the female’s gravelly voice, “Storm.” He blinked. The name was oddly fitting, not something he would have chosen, but it nonetheless brought forth thoughts of something frightening and dangerous that only fools dared venture near
He almost regretted his query as Storm’s eyes grew alert again, as she shook off her weariness and looked about with a new suspicion. He doubted anything he said would ease her distrust so instead he lay his head upon his paws and made himself as unthreatening as he could. “If I remember correctly,” He started, “there’s a small spring not far from here. I can lead you once this devil mountain goes back to sleep. Or I can just tell you the way.” He didn’t bother mentioning that if she asked for directions then he would probably lie, it was his way after all; where as if he led then he’d have to worry about her teeth finding their way into his flesh if he intentionally chose the wrong path. Not that he wanted to spend time in her company, he was best on his own without having to worry or care about others.
He licked at a burn on his paw, cleaning the ashes away as he waited for her response.
OOC: Sorry it took so long. I took a tumble down a set of stairs, tragically my laptop didn't survive. Hooray for libraries!

Now forcing herself to stay both awake and alert Storm turned her attention back to the rumbling mountain outside, stilling growling with a terrifying vengeance. She mused that perhaps the mountain awoke when it felt trespassers upon it's ground, and that it would awaken and try to drive them off with balls of fire and ash rain. However, this did not bring her amusement nor comfort, after all both she and this male now known as Daisuke, had sat through it's terror's...No, it was not amusing at all...And worst of all? She had now possibly lost the trail she'd been following for the past few days. But it wasn't too bad, after all it wasn't the first nor did she believe it to be the last time she'd have to start over with a new scent trail...After all when it rained most scents that were old enough would be washed away, and Storm had wandered through many down pours. It just took the right words with the right people to get on the right path and normally she'd end up across her sister trail once again.
With a light thump of her tail she took one final glance toward the volcano before her thoughts were again brought to a halt when the male spoke up, causing her to turn her massive head and look to him with bright golden eyes, like the embers of a fire. “If I remember correctly,” He started, “there’s a small spring not far from here. I can lead you once this devil mountain goes back to sleep. Or I can just tell you the way.” It was amazing how different people acted when they knew if they said the wrong thing something bad would happen, it always made Storm grin but this time around she was far to tired and irritated to smile. It was a pretty easy choice for her, seeing as how there was no reason to believe the males words now after seeing how he really could be it was likely he was either lying now about the pool of water, or he'd lie about the way to it or take her the wrong way...She'd not time for that. "I think I'll be alright, I have place to be." She stated turning to look back out the den's mouth.
The volcano was beginning to calm, the trembling earth starting to get softer and softer, the ash had stopped as well as the flying molten rock, but the lava still flowed from the crest of the mountain. Hopefully it would not take long for that to stop as well. The massive female could only hope that the ground around them wasn't molten rock and trapping them together...Or so, her. After all, the male had wings, he could fly his way out, she could not. Hem, she wondered if the ground would cool before she starved to death.
Ooc: Oh I was wondering what happened to ya. That really sucks. I'm sorry. ;-;

"I think I'll be alright, I have place to be."
Diasuke nodded, ignoring the disappointment that shivered through him.
"As you wish," he sulked as Storm turned away. Then he lowered his head to his paws, closed his eyes and listened to the volcano outside as its roaring slowly died down. Perhaps it would soon be safe to step outside again. Diasuke fluttered his wings a bit, shaking ash from them and stretching them out to see how sore they were. He grimaced a bit and hissed as some clotted blood tore away from one of the larger burns. Many of his lovely white feathers were matted together, he licked halfheartedly at them; he'd need to preen later if he wanted his wings to work properly.
He stood and stepped towards the entrance, listening to the eerie silence that had descended outside.
"Do you think its safe now?" he asked Storm, voice hushed as if he were afraid to waken the volcano again. He glanced at the larger wolf, blue eyes glinting with uncertainty before he realized what he was doing and tore his gaze away.
He moved forward towards the entrance, leaving the relative coolness of the cave for the stifling heat that still filled the air outside. He winced and stepped back again, apparently the outside world wasn't ready for his return. Grumbling to himself he slunk back into the cave to wait for the heat to die down.

Storm didn't need to look at the white male to know that her decline to his offer may have upset him slightly. She was rather sure that he wanted to have more fun with her, but she had not the time nor the want to waist on such a trivial matter as making sure someone’s boredom didn't over come them.
It wasn't long however before Daisuke arose, a slight growl escaping him that caused her ears to twitch but did not bother to turn around and glace him, surely he wasn't foolish enough to make an aggressive move toward her...It was probably his wounds, for like her it was likely he was very sore. As he walked by and out of the mouth of the cave she had to sort of stuff herself against the wall to make room for him. It was quite outside that the trembling earth she could hardly feel anymore and that was when his words rang out in the odd silence. "Do you think its safe now?" Looking up to the male her golden eyes locked with those his blue and watched him for a moment before he turned away, as if he'd realized something.
Apparently the the world outside the cave was not suitable for the male just yet, because soon after stepping outside the cavern Daisuke winced and returned to his spot near back of her. "We, may need to wait for night before it's safely cool enough outside. Wandering out there now rather than later means death by dehydration...And I don't know about you but I haven't drank anything for almost two and half days. I'm not taking that chance." She explained, voice gruff and low.
