Not an insult flung at her had ever phased her before. Nor would it now. The two males seemed to find a sort of cruel pleasure in their words, thrown callously in Mythium's direction, although their facial expressions showed none of the maliciousness their voices seemed to. Going on about etiquette, and manners, and being polite. Even being polite while spying, as if there was truly spying "etiquette." If there was, she had never heard of it or been taught it.
She hadn't even been spying really. Spying was meant to learn about a subject and report information to a higher power. There was no higher power here, she didn't serve anyone. She had simply been eavesdropping.
Yet they continued on about how she was lucky not to have met a dastardly creature. She wouldn't have cared. One of her many strengths was her lack of fear. It was also one of her biggest weaknesses at times.
Next the female decided to speak, her tone as authoritative as the first time her mouth had opened around Mythium. Something about wandering more often, which was surprising. She looked like a battle-scarred and hard-hearted wolf. Spirited, if not rather cruel with her green markings and pricked ears. But she also spoke of familiarity to Mythium; Mythium knew little of familiarity, her history spoke of that.
/Queen of Lux Umbra./
Queen? Was she speaking of a high ranking wolf in a pack? A title she'd given herself? It sounded rather self-centered, but deviously appealing.
Mythium gazed at the two boys, shaking her head. "You could not be more blunt, or more right. Although what there is to fear around here I cannot see." She said, licking her lips calmly, moving her paws slightly against the ground, making an almost inaudible shuffling sound. "As for etiquette..." She turned to the female now, dipping her head. "The only etiquette I see fit for this occasion is in accordance to our queen." Mythium simply knelt on one knee, bowing her head gently before she gazed up at Mania with a mysterious smile. "I am unsure how a pack came to be in this wonderous place." She sat up straight and glanced around the forest. "But I hope to portray myself as an ally..." She looked from Mania to Crash and Burn, her eyes darkening.
"Not an enemy."

CRASH AND BURN
They raised their eyebrows and wiggled their noses softly, yet they didn't move. Although she took their rather strange forms of badgering, insults, she shrugged them off easily. No, not shrugged. Took them like a strange boulder, hard as rock, not moving, not caring. As though she didn't possess emotions. But they moved on, turning simple brown eyes to match Mania's green, not in defiance but in equality, but they never stayed in place for long.
Queen? How interesting. The eyes turned to look at one another and they grinned softly, brother to brother. Queen of Lux Umbra? A fancy name therefore, a fancy pack, and thus led by a fancy wolf. They gave bows, synchronized just like everything else they did. Not low and with elegant flourish, bows to joke and tease. But simple bows, that hung low and stayed low for a few moments before rising, a rare moment when both wolves were serious.
They grinned to the still nameless female before looking back at Mania. A pack? How lovely. What is the pack's desire? Hrm? Yes, if you don't mind us asking of course. Burn added eagerly, although secretly, they both recoiled. Lead by a mad woman, no. No thank you! But being on her good side, that would be lovely. To be considered as allies, even better to be friends would help their little scheme, that had yet to set in motion. They nodded in agreement to the female. Yes. Allies. If we are not consider such, then hopefully we could be. Yes, Allies conclude a neutral standing with such a wolf, neither liked nor disliked. They added their thoughts fluently, with pause nor hesitation. Not a pack for them, perhaps they should start a pack!
Their eyes raised on their foreheads at the thought, such a betrayal, such motion! Alphas of a pack, wolves that would do as they say without a second thought. Ooh, they didn't care if the legend was good or bad. Indeed, this meeting was certainly going somewhere, and they were thankful for their prescence.

Allies and Enemies. They were all basically the same thing. Not truely on your side for an ally could be an slly of your enemy. And your enemy could bargain with them to fight against you. Easy as pie. It happened to my father. But then again, persuading to fight against a savage tyrant really was not that hard. Could I be following in my father's footsteps? After all, he did take over his empire at a young age. But he brought with him followers at a beginning. They fought the bloody battle to kill the first king and all those who wished to stay could and then the rest would parish. But he was not mad in the beginning, well, that's what my beloved mother told me. My father was visited by a traveling magician and he told my father a profecy. The profecy of his death, and how a lead leader would spring from his flesh and rule. Now this.. trying figuring it out must have been what caused him to go so mad. His endless thinking, the oly time he was thinking was when he was with my mother. Breeding her like a concubine. Or ordering his warriors to patrol for the Great One was suppose to take over his throne. He couldn't let that happen.. oh no.. But he didn't expect was I did in the end. No mattr, I won't be like him. I will rule my own way. Mine.
Mania watched the female and listened to the boys as they spoke. She stood nobly for a moment before a weird twitch came into the corner of her eye. She blinked and it disapated but still. It was crazed and wild. Much like herself. She was wild and crazed, spirited. A spirit no one could break in all reality. Though, how could a spirit truely be broken? No one could break something invisable and no less tangable than the air. Clearly, those who fall saying their spirit is broken, is a liar. A liar for that is scientifically impossible. Mania tilted her head a bit as the female spoke. She was cold on the outside. Like a rock. Mania liked that. She took the insults like a man, it was if she was a polished rock. And the lovely glaze took the insults like water and it just trickled off. She was unphased. Mania smiled a bit, and her thought her brought back as the female spoke again about accordance to her queen. Mania pulled her head high on her shoulders. A whiley little smile on her lips. The female was bowing suddenly and Mania backed up so it was more a triangle between herself, Crash, Burn, and this new female. She paused and noticed Crash and Burn bow as well. Mania's smile grew. She enjoyed this. This.. respect she was recieving. As they arose she gave them each a head nod to symbolize the respect she gave in return. Mania looked to the female and nodded, she coud be civil, could she not? "Well, it has only recently formed. And my rankings are small, but this is only the beginning." She said, and as she spoke a wild sparkle came into her eye. She began to speak but stopped and thought of her words, "The purpose? Why.. dominance over these lands. And whatever we damn well please." She grinned at Crash and Burn and looked back to the female as she began to speak again. "Allies are certainly welcome. And my alliegance is in you as well, if you are in mine. Or perhaps, if it.." She thought of the word, and smiled a bit, "Moves you, you may be welcome in my rankings." She looked to Mythium and then to the Twins. Then back to Mythium, "But first, who are you?"

There was silence from Mythium as she watched Mania from the depths of her eyes, chiding to herself about how easy it was to please an egotistical maniac like Mania herself. Mythium’s own mind was not quite as self-centered, although a fair amount of the time her best interests came before anyone elses. That wouldn’t be egotistical though, not really, not the way Mania portrayed herself. But not through words either, through simple gestures. A smile, the way her eyes held significant meaning in certain situations. Mythium had only been watching Mania for a few minutes and she could tell that she would be a challenging and admirable companion to have about. Not to mention formidable. Crash and Burn went on to ask about the pack’s meaning, why it’d been created, who was in it and the like. They even touched on the “ally” word that Mythium had brought up, suddenly proud that she’d done so before them. They seemed like a smart pair, she wondered if they would be above or below her in pack rankings. Guess it was all up to Mania in the end anyways.
“Domination?” Mythium said nonchalantly as Mania nodded to her and spoke, her eyes once again showing an eagerness and sparkle that Mythium could only take as agreement, with everything.
“Domination sounds challenging.” She said with a good-natured nod, her own jaws parting, her tongue hanging out loosely as she sat in silence a few moments longer, gazing at Crash and Burn. She didn’t know about them, but as a traveling female she really had no protection, no company, not that that really mattered any, and nothing to lose. She suddenly wanted to be tied down to something, to be powerful beyond belief.
“My queen,” she said, closing her jaws in a wolfish grin. “You may call me anything you prefer, although Mythium Saiiv is how I am known to most.” She nodded her head, pawing at the ground a little, her ears swivelling around like they always did. Everything about her was not cautioned at all, carefree and rather, ignorant, if pride could compete with ignorance. She lifted her chin a little, careful not to lift it more than Mania had so as to challenge her, and stood up. “If there is room and you allow it, I would like to join you as whatever you need me to be.” She didn’t care what she got ranked, what her duties or jobs were, what was expected of her. She knew it didn’t matter, and seeing as Mania wasn’t exactly the most organized, or so it seemed, she bet that pack rankings wouldn’t matter that much either. Of course, these were her assumptions.
“I do believe I’d be useful in some ways.” She said as she tilted her head to the side coyly, her eyes literally brightening.
“Some ways, more than others, of course.”

[CRASH AND BURN]
They looked at one another, twin talk, so to speak, silent words and even quieter emotions. They knew that this meeting was like playing with fire, a deadly game that could require many a thing to happen in a mere moments. This Mania lass, she was dangerous. True, she was as shallow as a puddle, but she was deep as well, deeper than the ocean, it would be have that neither of these wolves could swim. And so quick, Mythium had signed herself off, either it was a completely different style to playing, or she was a fool. Yes, the two were class clowns, but they were no fools, yes it was fools in the end, that die. Never had the game been so dangerous. Never had the game been more exciting.
They shook their head in silence before Crash smirked, pleased with Mania's words. You see, we mean no disregard to your offer. We are exetremely pleased that you would offer us such a chance, but for our, and you safety, we must decline. You see, we are perfectly pleased with allyship, if we are to call it that. Yes, you see, when we do join packs, and yours is certainly not the first, we have a tendency to bring bad luck with us. Is that not so brother? Burn said, humming as he went. As though he weren't about to reveal such a dark, and riddled past, a past so tangled up with lies that the web they weaved would choke those who came along for the ride.
Yes, you could say it was that, that brought down the pack's downfall. And the two smiled but such smiles, that it seemed as though the devil himself, had touched their very souls. Why, was it not in thier pack of family, that the river was poisoned? It was such good luck that they were smart enough to stay away when the family came to drink. Such bad luck when the lightning struck and allowed their second home to burst into flames. Good luck when Crash and Burn sat on the sidelines, with just ash in their fur. Thier third home, ripped apart from the teeth of another. If you were to take away the little details of course.
The details like the rotten fish, ill with disease that happened to find it's way into the water. Small, important details, like the lightning sprouting fire, and the two with branches in their jaws, running with fire on their tonue. Small, very detailed importance, like both brothers, playing the pack leaders like wind up toys. Those details, why without those details, they were very, very lucky indeed.

Breathe, I command it. You see. I have the power. No, I don't. I was merely yanking your tail. But what if I did? What if I could control the breath that fed you, the breath that controlled the lever. Death or Life. On flick and it could be lights out, or lights on. Imagine that. I would be a Queen like no other. I would be a queen that none would dare cross. And if one did dare, I would punish him. I would flick the lever so close to death but not touch it. How do you think it would feel? To smile in deaths face. A face of a thousand souls, growling and showing their teeth. Reaching for a taste of life. They want your flesh but before they consume you. You are brought back to the the life. Such a swift change could, no doubt, damage your delicate innards. But then again, maybe it was your time to go? Hehehe, I like thinking such dark, irrelevant thoughts.
Mania's poisonous eyes looked to Mythium, as she spoke of how it could be challenging and Mania's mouth grinned cruely. "Yes, of course, because with no challenge, it would be too easy. Which would make it unenjoyable." She spoke and looked off into the distance. As visions of crushing the weak and taking over these lands flicked by like a old time movie. And she blinked and breathed. Her eyes closed and opened slowly as if savoring the last bits of those images. Her eyes found the forms of the twins and then Mythium again inwhich had introduced herself. Mania nodded and watched her nod her head in respects of sorts perhaps.
The large alpha female's cruel grin faded into a frown as the twins politely declined her invitation. Strange. How could one not wish to be powerful? Not have power beneath their hands? She would never know. Then they spoke, for her safety and their own. This intruiged her. But before she could speak Mythium spoke again and was accepting her invitation. Mania felt a half smile grow on her black lips. She began to think for a moment without speaking and thought to herself. Her pack was growing, ever so slowly. But it seemed all that were in the pack were females. Females. No doubt they were strong. But where were her soldiers? Where were the males? She could only wonder if she was scarey them away.. "Mythium you will start out as a normal female, and if it is what you wish, you may work into high positions." She said and looked back to the twins. Speaking of the downfall, Mania tilted her head only could wonder what they meant. She breathed in and out again. She looked away from the twins then back at them, "So you two are bad luck? hmmm, quite interesting."
