[Name;] Tristan mín Vanwa
[Gender;] Male
[Species;] Gray/Eurasian mix
[Age;] 3 years, 2 months
[Pelt Colors;] Light brown, tan, gray, white
[Eye Color;] Violet
[Abnormalities;] Tristan doesn’t share his sister’s strange feature, but he does have one of his own. Tristan’s paws have, believe it or not, almost-opposable “thumbs”, enabling him to do things others can’t. He mostly uses this for climbing trees.
[Strange Markings;] Tristan has a slash across his muzzle, identical to his sister’s except for that his is bright violet. His fur isn’t streaked, like his sister’s, but is tinted lightly with the same color. He has darker rings around his eyes, and looks like the negative of his sister’s image. Where Iseult is dark, Tristan is light. Tristan resembles neither of his parents very much. Ironically, Tristan most closely resembles his blooded great-uncle (Jasper’s mate). He is built a little huskier than his sister, but is still on the lanky side for a gray wolf. Tristan’s fur is mostly light browns, grays, and white, giving him a salt-and-pepper look. He and his sister both have light Irish accents, but Tristan’s is slightly less pronounced.

[Personality;] Tristan is a more social wolf than his sister. He makes up for her lack of conversation when the time calls to be polite, but he enjoys quiet as much as she does. His overlying concern is for her well-being. The typical big brother, Tristan is very protective of Iseult, even though they were born minutes apart. Tristan is more thoughtful than his sister, questioning orders before carrying them out and often doing something completely different instead. Tristan has almost inexhaustible supplies of patience, and dislikes getting into fights. He does, however, like to sneak and spy on people, making him an excellent hunter. Tristan’s greatest weakness is his liking for pretty girls. Along his travels, Tristan has had many a fling, but doesn’t know if any came to anything. His sister is annoyed at this, but chooses to ignore it for his sake. He is skilled at flirting, but more often than not, his sister butts in and drags him away before he can get carried away. Tristan is one of those people who falls in love easily, gets their heart broken, swears they’ll never love again, and falls for the next girl he meets.
[History;]Tristan was the product of a disastrous affair. Her mother was to be mated with the alpha in a neighboring pack. The alpha’s nephew, Leonard volunteered to escort her to the pack lands, and on the journey, the two fell in love. By the time both were willing to admit it, they were too close to the pack lands to hide or run away. They hid the secret well for a while, until Jasper’s mate led a pack hunt, leaving only Jasper and one of her trusted friends behind. Leonard circled back to meet her, and the two were discovered. Jasper’s mate, furious with them both, has Leonard tortured and killed, and attempted to do the same to Jasper. She fled, and discovered two months later that she had carried Leonard’s children. There were three pups- Iseult, Tristan, and Mark. Jasper’s mate sent hunters after the family, and Mark was killed. Iseult, Tristan, and Jasper survived long enough for both of the pups to be trained. Jasper died when they were nearly two from an unexplained illness, and Iseult and Tristan continued on alone.
