[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=FD5509] Fritz had no clue what she was doing. She never really had any sense at all when it came to matters of finding her next spot to take a nap. The world was just one big colorful sand box already ready to make castles in a matter of seconds. Fritz really couldn't see past her own imagination and if you wanted to tell her to get her head out of the clouds it would only make her float higher into space. With a sleepy, almost dazed look, and a smug smile on her face, Fritz headed in the directions of which she thought would be a nice place for a cat nap. It was certainly a place with a more dense plant population, but that just meant she could find a nice tree to curl up in. There was no way she was going to have a problem finding one of those. As she pushed onwards she didn't realize until it was too late that she had made a wrong turn. Oh well, just because it was a little dark didn't mean it was bad, right? In fact, the sun wasn't hurting her eyes here so maybe it was a good thing she kept going after all! There was a spring in her step as she fluttered her wings about happy to be in such a nice, comfortable place. As it became darker and darker Fritz couldn't help but become more giddy. Even though her trees were quickly replaced with something more sinister, she continued on until she found a suitable spot to rest. She didn't care where she was or who might be upset with her sneaking around. All that mattered was her beauty sleep and if anyone decided to disturb her then, boy oh boy, that would be their death wish. Or to be more precise, they would most likely never see the light of day ever again. Fritz dropped to the ground, pulled herself into a tight ball, and used her orange wings as a blanket. Not soon after she fell into a deep sleep that left her vulnerable... or was she really vulnerable? The only thing that was on her min was 'Oh what pure bliss to sleep'! So whoever decides to wake her up from this one would certainly be in for it. Now if that meant she was vulnerable or not is left all up to whoever wants to find out.

Or to take, however I am feel. But be warned. I won't be leaving for a long, long time. So my sweet little angel that flutters like a butterfly.. do you feel death? Mania sat staring into the lighter places of the jungle from a rock in the midst of the forest. Her keen acidic eyes staring, waiting.. craving for a taste. Oh, what was this? Something orange caught her eye. Wings, something of a giant butterfly? Ney. She turned her lovely feminine face to the creature and watched as she trotted right on into her domain. Her lands stretched far and wide, but these were the pack lands. Where they slept, conversed, and protected the children. Mania felt her anger boil. This wolf had not respected her bounderies. Or perhaps she chose to merely ignore them. Her eyes narrowed and her black lips twitched into a sickening grin. This would be quite enjoyable. The sleek grey female stepped from her rock, now the steep slope and onto her moist, soft ground. Her nose was lifted as she sniffed for a scent. She caught a wiff some female, and lowered head. Breathing deeply, catching her prey's scent. She moved her head up a bit more as she turned into a patch of tall ferns. Weaving through them like a rodent as she followed her victim. Mania's ears pricked forwards as she pricked her head up, her ears like butterfly wings, with their liar eyes. She ducked down and moved like a cat. Twisting in and out of the green in a flash of silver and green. It was not long until she was upon the female with fluttery wings. She remained in the thick ferns, watching with her yellow green eyes. Her right eye began to twitch in the outside corner, then stopped, as if to show her concentration level. She watched as she plopped down. Mania felt her lips curl up and her ears flick back in an angry way. HOW DARE THIS GIRL WALK AROUND ON MY LAND! She thought, she held herself fromjumping out and ripping her fragile wings off. She lowered herself to the ground, crouching down ready to spring. Her ears pressed back against her nape and her body went still. Her sides rose steadily as it seemed like hours that the mysterious female fell into the veil of dreams. And that was when Mania made her move. Mania stepped forward, winding through the ferns. She narrowed her eyes at the sleeping female and crept up close. Her heart beat was fast and she could hardly control her breath. She hadn't hunted in so long. he was beginning her addiction all over again. Mania lowered her head to the female's and sniffed. A ly smile grew on her black lips as she let her lips curl back and her teeth shine in the light right before the female's eyes. She looked to her neck and felt the urge to bite it but held to herself. A sick, gutteral snarl came from her as she stared at the sleeping females face, right infront of her own. Then she spoke, her voice was so rough and rigid but in a volume hardly above a whisper. "What would happen if I ripped off the wings of a butterfly?"

She was going to get her sleep and when that happens, no one else was going to be able to stop her, not even death himself. It wasn't all bad not knowing what was out there while she was in her deep slumber. The dream land was much more faithful than the real one. Tricks, lies, and all sorts of nasty things were eager to snap your head off at any moment only to laugh at your own stupidity for falling for such dastardly deeds. No, the dream world was far better. It shielded you from the things you would otherwise never even think of. For example, who would ever dream of another wolf getting too up close and personal for comfort? Someone who liked that stuff, maybe? Someone who might like the confrontation? Well, that wasn't Fritz. She much rather dream of hopping from cloud to cloud on a never ending path full of all kinds of goodies that were only possible in dreams. Such a naive wolf was she this Fritz. But... perhaps being naive was good for her. Fritz didn't even notice the other wolf approaching. Heck, it could have been an entire pack and she wouldn't even have known. At the moment she was too far off in dreamland to even care. Even as she was inches away from her throat, the only sign of life came from her twitching nose that was acting up from the dust that was crowding around her. Without a doubt she was completely and utterly out. She would have even slept through the she-wolf's words too if it weren't for the growl that pierced through her dream world like a knife through butter. Fritz's eyes were pushed into a glare long before she even opened them. She shifted her weight a bit before allowing her eye lids to give away her rage. They were flashing angrily at the wolf that dared to disturb her slumber. Who the hell ha the right to do that? Some jerk with an attitude problem apparently. With a jerk of her legs from the sudden adrenaline coursing through her veins, she got to her feet ready to stare down that jerk who had the nerve to do that. Just some idiot would wake a wolf while they were sleeping. Just. some. idiot. "Oh I don't know... what would happen if I tried to behead an idiot? I would probably find nothing but hot air." She snarled snapping her teeth towards the female showing her lovely pearly whites, "Want to give it a try? I'm sure you won't be needing that extra lump of body too much." Surprisingly Fritz hated being mean and resorting to violence, but that was on a normal day. She had actually gotten some sleep, but not enough to tie her over so she was a bit mad. It was just this girl's luck or misfortune, one or the other, that she had woken her up. Her yellow tinted eyes narrowed, trying to act like a sword to cut through the she-wolf. Squaring off her shoulders and puffing out her chest, Fritz got ready to lunge at the female having not intent whatsoever of hearing what she had to say. When it came to fighting she was fairly weak when not tired or angered. She could barely hold her own against a rabbit or squirrel, but when she is in an all out death-war mode she could take down a few bears if she wanted to. It wasn't that she had heightened powers once in this new mode, it was that she wasn't holding back at all and that she wouldn't stop until she had accomplished whatever it was that she had to do to get 'un-angry'. If that meant fighting until she died, well then so be it. "Say what you want now or forever rest in pieces. I prefer the second one, but hey, even the brainless know how to make the right choice, no?" She taunted letting the words roll off her tongue in a graceful way.

When the dawn rises and your face to face with the enemy on the battle field, even surrounded by your comrads, is their any way to escape it? No. Your heart's beating a million miles an hour and her breath is increasing before you even start moving. But I am in the back. I am being held back with my kin and a few others. In moments the first howl is like a becon of light and the first brigade is launched at one another. The first lines cutting eachother down like a lawnmower. No one even had a chance. I fel the urge in my muscles and some binds me. Something sharp the pentrates my body. I do not know what this is. So , besides my body begging me to let go, I stay put. I feel as if I should. So I do. I watch a my comrads fall, as to theirs. And I hear them calculating and the let my brother and my sister go. I snarl, angered. Why won't they release me to do what I was made for?! I can only I watch as my kin destroy. Like they were meant to do. And the invisable cage they hold me in is released and I am free. I lurch forwards and I snarl. I am ready to tare into my enemy. My legs spring me into action as I rip up the ground behind me. I tare into my first victim, and the next and the next. They all fall around me. My brothers and sister's are released behind me. I stop and howl, an eerie.. carnivorous howl. And I lower my head. Panting as the blood dripped form my tongue, and face. My eyes, I see from the outside now. I look at the beautiful monster that I am. And I awaken. You see, you are not the only ones that dream. So tell me, hat are your dreams made of? Mania stepped back a half a step as the female got up. The instant she did Mania could feel her hostility and a playfully sick smile began to grow on her face. Her black lips forming such a creepy little smile. One of a deranged child. "Or you may find an idiot's severed spine. As well as a beautiful red waterfall." Mania watched the female show her her white teeth. Mania merely stared at her. Her poisonious yellow green eyes swirled with excitement but a nausiating cruellness. She just stared. Slowing scanning the black females body structure. Looking at where it would hurt the most. Throat, of course. If tore a wing, no off, or even broke it, it would be painful enough. Her ligaments in her fragile legs, or pershaps her nose. Mania looked back at the females eyes. She was beginning to raise Mania's urge. But her expressionless face told no lie nor gave away her thoughts. Mania let her smile drop from her face as she watched her puff up. Standing completely still, not making herself look larger or trying to frightened her opponent. Just stared at her with her cruel eyes and spoke. "You are tresspassing on my land. The choice is yours, run with your tail between your legs, if you value what you keep, or stay prisoner to me." Mania's voice was almost monotone, until they end when she let her infamous chessire grin grow on her face. That was something you never wanted to start to see. It usually meant something awful was about to happen. Mania stepped forwards, easily larger than the female but only enough to tell a slight difference. She held no fear in her eyes, nor in her step. No hesitation what so ever. "Oh, by the way. careful who you begin to insult, Bitch." Mania's tone went into something terrifying in that sentance. No respect given, none in return.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=FD5509] Blah Blah Blah. That's all it was. Nothing interesting, Nothing scary, and certainly nothing to make her even bother to care. Fritz was selfish with a capital s. Her personality may be happy-go-lucky with the added bonus of a child like quality with a hint of laziness on her good days, but even so, she really only cared about herself. What others did or said didn't come across as worth her while. It was only about where she would sleep next or where she was going to get her next meal. Whatever sort of lecture this pompous brat decided to give, she was not interested. Fritz carefully watched the she-wolf size her up, no doubt looking for the easiest way to take her down. Heck, if she wanted to take her down just by diving for her throat or some easy opening than this wolf was a bigger idiot than she first thought. Fine! Coming charging in snapping at everything that might possibly cause her pain only to find out that when Fritz was grumpy she was grumpy. No amount of pain was going to stop her blood lust when she was in this mood. A jump, skip, and hop later, she'll probably have both her wings torn off and quite a few major injuries, but that would never stop her endless urge to kill anyone who had the nerve to disturb her from her nap. "Or..." She growled in response to the she-wolf's comment on running with her tail between her legs, "You can stick your head between your legs and kiss your bum good-bye. I like that plan a whole lot better, dontcha say? At least it sounds more realistic." She scrunched her nose up in disgust at the thought of becoming some prissy's slave. Her? A slave? Was that some sort of twisted joke? That had to be it. Ha-ha, some sick joke from a sick minded wolf. And if anything, she would commit suicide before she allowed someone else to force her to do something for someone other than herself. Prissy wants a try? Well c'mon! But she would at the very least, look like she ended up in a blender before Fritz was done with her. She wasn't afraid to die. She was never afraid. Last time she was scared was when she was a tiny pup who was absolutely terrified that she wouldn't find a comfortable enough hole to crawl into for her afternoon shut eye. It had been a long time since then. Fritz pushed forward too, mimicking the other wolf's stance and meeting her eyes with a spark of hatred. "Oh and by the way, honesty hurts, darling. I can't help it if you see the truth as an insult to your entire being. Wake up and smell the damn roses. B-I-T-C-H." Fritz was about to lunge at the ugly priss, but a thought magically popped into her head. Perhaps she could use this situation to her advantage. It would certainly be a benefit if things went her way. They always did. Now, she said she owned this land, no? Neither of them needed to get wounded, and frankly, this one had more to lose if wounded in a fight so... perhaps she could strike a deal. Fritz had no interest in owning land of her own or a pack of her own, but this was a nice enough place to stay out of the sun. "How about this. You don't need to be wounded since you'll be at a disadvantage if another wolf comes along with intent of taking control of your land." She replied relaxing her stance a little and biting back everything that fought for the blood running in the prissy's veins, "I also see you could use a little help around here since normally the alpha wouldn't greet the intruder herself, but rather have her slaves do it for her. Now I need a place to stay so maybe we can strike a deal? I join your pack and then we won't have to bother with getting our paws dirty." It was a fairly good way to go. Fritz wasn't normally this rude or violent, but she was clever. This pack might be one of the more vile ones where death surrounds them everywhere, but even they could use a little help even if it is from a more childish wolf. Now it was time to see if this she-wolf had any brain power at all. It was time for her to make a good, careful, choice.

And here I lay, stalking the little thing as if I was a cat and she was my toy. Perhaps she had sensed me a while back, and I had been starting to think she was until she curled up and fell asleep right in the middle of Lux Umbra. At this, I chuckled, from my high spot in the trees. My lanky body wasn't built for trees but through a series of fortunate events, I had managed to get myself up onto the branch of one, my black legs hanging neatly off of it. What a strange and peculiar sight, a black wolf with butterfly wings.

How horrific that must be.

As I gazed at the little thing on the ground, I could feel a snarl bubbling up towards my black charred lips. It was quite comical that she believed she could come into the middle of a territory and just settle down to take a cat nap. I sure was giddy with excitement at what Mania would do when she found the little girl. A giggle escaped my lips, but I gasped lightly as she slept on, grinning to myself. Oops.

And sure enough, along came alpha female Mania, slinking through the bushes and taking a slow look at the stranger laying in the middle of her territory. A horrible snarl that almost knocked me from my branch burst forward from her feminine frame, Mania's snarling face a picture of sheer horror to me, the onlooker. Her ears were pressed back against her head, and her neck was lowered as if about to attack, but then rose once again as a sly smile spread across my alphess's face.

"What would happen if I ripped off the wings of a butterfly?"

I giggled, twittering about before I clumsily fell off the branch. I sprawled down onto the leaves below, but at this point the two were snarling and hissing at each other and most likely did not hear me. I bounced around so that I would emerge into the area from behind the butterfly fool, ready to come to the aid of my alpha.

"I also see you could use a little help around here since normally the alpha wouldn't greet the intruder herself, but rather have her slaves do it for her. Now I need a place to stay so maybe we can strike a deal? I join your pack and then we won't have to bother with getting our paws dirty."

Here, is where I made my entrance. Out from the bushes I stalked, my head higher than the black woman's but lower than Mania's. My graceful body slithered out in front of her, then to loop around behind Mania to give the newcomer a daring smirk.

"Pardon me for speaking out of turn, my queen, but I am curious as to why we should allow this little shrew to infiltrate our home as she has already defiled the simplest rule of pack-hood." A slow smile crept onto my face, my words a soothing and slow stream. My glittering honey-hued eyes blinked at her quite girlishly, before my golden body, speckled with the dust of charcoal, faced her completely, white tipped tail flicking back and forth and waiting for my queen to speak.

I will expand my empire in time, but right now.. Right now everything is good. My life will be smoothe sailing I am sure of it. But perhaps not. You never know future for certain. You can only see it as a vast ocean. Whichever way you push on is the way you will travel. Perhaps into shore, perhaps into shallows, perhaos a rocky bottom that will sink your ship. And that'd be it. Or you could head out to open sea and meet your maker there. Whether it be a storm that takes you out or your ship rots out from beneath you, you will meet your maker one way or another. But why not go out and find a way? Perhaps you could find a way around all of the bullshit. Or maybe you'll have to ride right into the storm and bear nature's wrath and get over those 40 foot waves. Get over the mile stones. You'll be well seasoned by now. But one of these days, you will no longer be a legend of the sea. But a forgotten tale in the mind's of the old. You will be over run by the youngin's and they will defeat you. Bring you down to your knees. You will bow down to them. In the world of new. In my new world. All Mania could do when the female spoke was smile. Her lips stretching over her teeth and gums. Her brows furrowed and gave her a true joker expression. And a weird little laugh began in her throat. That had her head raising and moving, back and forth and side to side. She et it begin to shake to gut. She leaned back, bending her hind legs as her poisionous eyes narrowed. Tears began to come to her eyes as her senile laugh began to become so boisterous that it began to echo throughout her domain. But then in her fit of laughter, her head jerked down in a way that could give anyone whiplash. Her face so serious it was frightening. Her lips in a slight frown and her eyes were sharp as they burrowing into the females like laserbeams. "Don't. Make. Me. Laugh." Mania tilted her head as the female spoke again it was soon after. Her head turned slowly as her eyes never left the female. "How about you tell me something I don't know about myself? And your honesty does not hurt, it only tells of facts." Mania's eye twitched slowly as that was when she began to think of things. Of her packmate, since she had no pack, but Amira. She scowled as she looked upon the female and I saw Amira emerge from the greenry. How strange that she burst from the background as she began to ponder her whereabouts. Mania watched the golden female walk around the black female and then just behind her. Mania's ears pricked up to the female as she spoke and Mania's hard gaze did not grow soft as she listened and gazed at her. And for a moment, as she lifted her head high she looked like a Queen. A genuine queen. Noble and inquistive was the expression on her face. This female was a sly one. She was going to talk her way out of this, Mania could tell already. She narrowed her eyes a bit, and tilted her head enough to see Amira and she flicked and ear back to listen. Amira was right. She had violated the very simplest rule. She moved forwards and stared at the unknown female. "It's high time we've all become acquinted. I am Mania Inkwell, and this is Amira." She said in a tone of dominance and seriousness. "Tell us your name." She demanded and then looked a bit to Amira as if asked her to move a bit so the female did not have an escape route. She breathed in and down, a long heavy breath. "This pack is for hardened creature of the cruelest kind. We are not a babysitter for children that are brats when they do not get what they want. We expect nothing but your highest loyalty and you use all that you have when you must." Mania spoke quite poetically and then looked away and then back, "I am going to hold you captive as of now, you may become one of the pack if you can explain to me what you have to offer. Right now." She said, her noble features had gone in a split second into something of upmost horror. A storybook scareytale.

She stared at Mania for a moment with a grin on her face. Well, well, well. Miss Priss had shown a bit more of her character. Either this wolf was extremely important to Mania that she not dare send her to chase off an intruder or she was far too headstrong to let anyone, but herself, do the dirty work right. She would have to further investigate, but if she had to guess it would be the first one. Perhaps Mania was deathly loyal to her pack the way she thought Fritz ought to be? Assuming that the she-wolf was part of the pack, of course. It was too sketchy to think that she would do that for everyone pack member. Not to mention kind of creepy. That would be considered a hero complex, right? So the cruelest of the cruel had a hero complex? Bad yet good? That would be so darn hypocritical if it were true. "Well I'm not too valuable while totally rested." She replied honestly with a shrug of her shoulders, "But, I do have a wit about me that could greatly benefit you as you can see. Not to mention I don't give a rats ass about loyalty. As long as I have a place to sleep I'll follow you without complaints. I also don't have a damn babysitter. but this one..." she nodded towards the female that appeared, "Seems like an exception to that rule anyway, no? Seems like a lot of those rule breakers are going around. Maybe, it's contagious." Fritz just barely stopped herself from glaring right through the other wolf.That one got on her last nerves. 'Oh why would we allow her if she breaks all the rules'? Oh I don't know, perhaps because she would benefit the pack in a way that your wussy arse couldn't? Or was that just too hard a concept for that girly to wrap her head around? Another thing about that idiot girly was that she was such a suck up and automatically thought that she could win at everything just because she could get on Mania's good side. Cut the crap already, it was giving her a headache. If that girly thought she would win at kissing up, then she'd be right, but if she thought she could win against Fritz's tongue and wit then girly was two flavors of pure crazy. Fritz mulled over kissing up. She could do that too. It was just too bad she just didn't care enough to try. Well, maybe she would try to give it a go. No doubt she would start laughing and that would give her away, but hey, it was always worth a shot. "Oh my wonderful queen..." She snickered with an unintended giggle and with a raise of her eyebrow, "I'm Fritz. You would have found that out anyway, but it's better to hear it from my lips. Now it's not really what I have to offer as the consequences of not taking my offer is what you should be worried about. Keep your friends close and enemies closer, eh? Oh, but I don't intend to be an enemy if you work with me here." That's when Fritz just barely controlled herself long enough not to roll her eyes at Mania. Was that face supposed to frighten her? Heck, if anything it made her laugh. Such a messed up face that only a mother could love, if that, deserved it's own special tent in a freak show at a circus. A more skittish wolf would be backing away, but she just... Did. Not. Care. In fact, any wolf would be frightened of that, but Fritz was entirely past the entire 'be scared and I might spare your life' stuff. She had no interest in a wolf who tried to toy with another person's life like that. Either kill 'em or let them live. Don't sit there and try to bargain with it. That is only a god's duty not some worse than scum wolf. Death was no longer a tool that could be used against her. The scary part was living on, not dying.

Even those great Kings such as the Once and Future King, Arthur had peasants and followers. Even so righteous and good, he did. Why can't I? It not a matter of why, its a matter of when. I must wait for these addicts to get a taste of this power I hold. Then all I will ever have to do is accept them or deny them. Like I am doing now with this.. Fritz, wasn't it? I will be considering this. I need followers. But she doesn't seem that promising at the same time. She sounds like she needs a crashpad, I could always chase her out if she become a nusance. Hehehehehe... how rude. Mania's eyes narrowed as she listened. As the female kept on talked she frowned and her jaws opened and closed, swiftly. Creating a clicking noise with her teeth. A warning of sorts. What a contridiction. She doesn't give a damn about loyalty, but would follow dear Mania around like a puppy if she let her stay. She had wit, she would need it. Since she is more or less a fragile specimen. Mania opened her eyes and studied the females face. She suddenly spoke, "Yes, your wits, you'll need them." That was all Mania said about that. Mania's rolled her strong shoulders, and moved her neck to the left in a weird position. Causing a loud, sick pop to occur, and she pulled her head back into the rightful place and pinched her shoulder blades together, and pulled her head up. A few softer pops came from her chest. She breathed in and sighed. And just before she could begin to speak again, the female spoke. Mania looked at her and her brow tensed as she felt slightly cut-off in a sense. She let her black lips flip up at Fritz. As she had just formally introduced herself. Mania just stared at her in a cold, unempathetic way. "Well said, but not close enough to have away with you." Her tones wa as if she was spitting out vemon. Mania began to turn and stopped, she looked back to the female. "Oh, Welcome to Lux Umbra." She stared at the female a bit longer, only wondering what her next move would be.
